Mantra: OM MANI PADME HUM

It is the Buddha of COMPASSION. Also known as CHENREZIG

Of resplendent white color, representing purity.

His four arms symbolizing the four immeasurable thoughts.

His right hand holds a Mala symbolizing compassion - the method; and the left, a lotus flower representing wisdom - jewel in the lotus.

His other two hands are joined at the level of the heart and hold the jewel -Chintamani- which grants desires and transmutes everything; it represents perfect altruism and bodhichitta.
