Vajradhara

Mantra: OM VAJRA DHARA HUM HUM HUM HUM

Vajradhara is the primordial Buddha, who represents the essence of the realization of Enlightenment and the formless Dharmakaya of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni. He is also the quintessence of all the Buddhas of the three times.

The color of Vajradhara's body is a dark blue because of the empty sky, symbolizing the vastness and infinitude of the enlightened mind, called Dharmakaya.

His arms are crossed in the middle of his chest. His right hand holds a Vajra symbolizing skillful means (Compassion) while his left hand holds a bell symbolizing Wisdom. These two Dharma instruments are the ultimate representation of the “ultimate non-duality” and the “non-duality of existence.”
